Discontent over Zuideramstel decision making

By dirkklo

There is serious discontent over the decision making process in Zuideramstel. The district council has decided to speed up an evaluation of its own meetings in order to address the discontent.

In order to complete the evaluation as soon as possible, only one instead of five group meetings will be organised. The meeting will take place next week.

In 2006, Zuideramstel replaced committee meetings with a more flexible system of council meetings. The objective was to make politics more interesting for residents, but critics say it has had the opposite effect.
